What is Fig?
FIG IS A COMMUNITY POWERED PUBLISHER. Fig brings together gamers, investors, developers, and its own publishing powers to bring great video games to market. We created Fig to provide game studios and their fans a more balanced and sustainable approach to game development and publishing. We're changing how games are published.
TOGETHER, WE CAN GROW THE GAMES ECOSYSTEM, inspire new community-informed, community-backed publishing, and provide a creative platform for studios to bring their ideas to the people who matter most – their fans. Our goal is to strike a balance between titles from well-known independent studios as well as ones from up-and-coming indie teams.
HOW FIG CO-PUBLISHES GAMES
Fig works with developers every step of the way: from providing development advances to providing publishing and distribution services when games are ready for launch, all the while bringing the community of fans and gamers along the way.
Focal points of our publishing process are our crowdfunding campaigns that serve to galvanize the community and fans to show their demand and support for the game, while also allowing the developer to raise funds from rewards and game pre-sales.
Gamers and others can invest in Fig, and receive Fig Game Shares™, which will pay distributions based on Fig's right to sales receipts from a particular Fig game. Each series of Fig Game Shares will track the potential future sales receipts of a particular game to which Fig has a right and will pay distributions based on those amounts, if and when they are generated. Proceeds from Fig Game Shares are used by Fig to fund its operations generally, and to help develop and publish all of our games. In certain circumstances, we may offer LLC units or other securities that are similar, but not identical, to Fig Game Shares.
We encourage all interested investors to understand the risks and rewards of investing in Fig and picking a particular Fig Game Share series. More information about Fig, the games we publish, and the Fig Game Shares can be found in the investment materials that relate to each game and in our SEC filings.
